Lib Dem Leader Gets Press To Raise Profile For Residents to Complete the Census

The census takes place every ten years and on 27th March this year the time has come again! It's based on where you are on that day and provides accurate information on the numbers of people, where they live and their needs.

I was lucky enough to have some photos shot of myself and the other two party leaders in Ealing which will appear in a Council published magazine which concerns council matters.

The census is collected by all Councils including Ealing Council and all census information is securely protected and everyone has to take part.

I was amazed at the figure that Ealing Council gains from the government of £22,000 for each person which will help fund lots of public activities that the Council provide.

Do ensure you fill in the form which will mean our Council will have more money to pay for local services.

If you have any questions please let me know or call the census helpline on 0300 0201101. A good website to check out is: http://2011.census.gov.uk/
